Hi, I'm a newbie to bullion investing and I've been thinking to invest in silver bullion particular 10 oz bars and 1-2 oz coins. Trouble is i don't know anywhere around Sydney to buy them, the shipment costs kill the purchase on top of the already high spread. I just wanna be able to walk into a place, eftpos a few hundred and walk out with the bullion in my bag. (without getting ripped by massive spread) Any experienced stackers here know where the good places are? Thanks

the other chap might be a good bet if elsewhere is dry for kg bars, given that he doesn't often come up in discussion. DYOR
MR Roberts didn't even have 1966 50c or bullion sovereigns a few weeks ago and indicated that they rarely did. Strand Coins might be worth a shot.
Does ABC and KJC and actually have bars on site? Because on the ABC website i think they said they didnt store anything on site or did i just read it wrong? =/ Also do you guys personally buy from these places? =)
I buy from Bullionmark. For me he has the best website on the net and the live prices are a good feature.
I have checked every place mentioned several times, some places regularly Bought from several Give ABC a call if you are after bars An alternative is putting up an ad here on stackers, for an ftf in Sydney, for whatever you want probably could get the best deal that way
Yeah I was looking at bullionmark, the prices of their stuff is pretty good, just when delivery is added it takes the wind out of the sails Ahh what is a uni student to do? =/
Yep, also trawled them. I'll rue the day I tipped them No round 50s for quite some time, but they do come up with exotica from time to time Sovs are a tricky item for new stackers. The same sovs have sat in the MR Robs display case for months..
Oh ftf meetings eh? I'll think about that. I think ill call a few places and see what they all say about it Just wanna find a place with decently priced 10oz bars and coins as thats all I can afford to buy haha.
There's always the Wednesday meetings that Steve from Aurora Et Luna goes to - he can sell coins in low numbers, might be the trick.
Oh? where and what time are these meetings that this Steve goes to? I wouldn't mind going to these sorta meetings as i test the waters of bullion investing so to speak =D

Thanks for this post, i'm being dragged to Sydney in a few weeks time and will have time to wander around town while trying to convince a 3y/o that coins shops are fun places to look.
KJC has usually got the best price in my experience. I continue to but 15kg PAMP cases from them cheaper than Bullionmark. However, 10oz bars are usually the same price at KJC as Bullionmark + shipping. No one likes ABC bars...simple.
