Hi all, I am new to this. My son found this coin yesterday when it was rejected by a bank coin counter. I have only been able to find one similar one online, and this one has some more interesting features, like the spelling of Elizabeth in reverse. We would be grateful to hear your insights about this coin. Pics are here (let me know if this link does not work): https://photos.google.com/share/AF1...?key=dWRUZ2hpc01jRS1xb0FGemxuOXB6VEQ2SGF6MDh3
Thanks boneyard! can you show me the other side? as far as i can see that's post mint damage, a shed job to try to mess with a coin , for what reason I cant say but generally people try to create error coins to profit. worth $1
clicked on link and saw the other side. this is what is commonly referred to as a vice job. eg someone puts 2 coins together in a vice and squeezes them to leave the impression of the other coin in mirror form on the host coin. trying to fake a brokage strike ( a valuable error but rare and easily identifiable) but this coin has evidence that proves otherwise basically worth $1
