Foreign silver

    Has anybody found a benefit buying overseas for lower premiums or does postage sap away the benefit? Or is there a minimum you'd have to buy to actually gain from it, or the inverse with postage weights? Interested to see if it is worth it.

    Might help if you filled out the "location" section
    Don't bother importing silver ( assuming your in Oz )

    Don't waste your time thinking about it ;)
    A couple of group buys have happened in the past , after paying GST/customs duties :/
    Just shop around between dealers instead

    Only makes sense in the UK, and then only if buying from a European country that charges VAT only on the margin.

    Even then, the postage negates a considerable part of the benefit, unless buying in some bulk.


    DOI: I have bought from Germany, Estonia, and Jersey before. More fun to go there in person and bring it back yourself.
