I do not heard a lot of china medals which produces by official mints without no 4. It happen for few but not a lot. It is more occurrence for private mints medals if I am not wrong. I like coa 44.

Double 44 means good for some Indian 4 plus 4 is 8 lol.

Personally I just like same coa number like 11,22 or so on

Hmmm. What is this subscription thing? I bought mine from first coin company (still not arrived) and saw nothing about any subscription...

Miksture, I can't remember how much it was, maybe $12-$15 extra. Anyway, if you paid the extra and bought the subscription you are guaranteed the same serial number for every coin in the series. I purchased mine from First Coin also.

I was curious about this, so I went and looked. There is 2 different Odin coins, 1 for 349.90$ and 1 for 399.90$ the later one is the subscription included as fiveonomo said.

Some folks like to have the same serial number for each coin or medal in a series (only applies to coins and medals that are stamped with a serial number or have a serialized COA).

One has to pay for that service as there is a labor cost involved.

indeed, great detail. solid coin. look forward to seeing the next one. With spot closing on in 13, it may take a long while for these to appreciate substantially in price. But I still think they hit a home run with this series. It is the 1st coin with this type of relief. Good for them.

$50 for subscription is pretty steep. I paid 10 for subscription at powercoin and nothing at Perth bull. When is the next release due?

I was going to link another one instead, but that's only in 240p.. ;)

Yeah, doesn't look half-bad, aside from my & others' criticisms of the piece.. A big one seems to be Ol' Lizzie. Nothing wrong with doing just a straight-out medal, though perhaps a bit too late for that for this series?

Ultimately, however, this one ain't for me.. Will keep an eye on future releases, of course.

Then maybe they save those COAs with 4 for people Outside China :D
Anyway, I saw several big medal forums in China, when they do the presale, they declare NO COA with 4, things like that

Correct it is true for some associations who engage private mints to commissions a medal for them which skip 4 in coa. Howeever, this is rarely happen with official mints and medal commission by the reputable private mints themselves.

Probably you need to check them more often and differentiate it ;)

The coin is really nice in hand. The heft is quite a different feeling than when one is holding a normal coin. The relief is quite striking to my eye. It is really nice to see and own something different that the normal coins the mints are releasing. Having held it now I don't know what there is not to like. Really an impressive piece this one is!

    Kudos to Choice Mint!

The attention to detail from the coin itself to the presentation is first class.

    Well done!
