    Anyone has idea how big of the package for the 1oz DeLoreans coin? is it as big as those Startrek packaging? Thanks

    Just to respond to that in case it results in misconceptions, there are no batteries in the hoverboard packaging - it is magnetic.

    The hype was so big i thought the next release was coming ---back to the future 4 movie but no 21 october was there
    iam not a fan so i couldnt know but this coin and (board) is going to die a slow death what a joke . ps hoovers enough for sale in europe

    I want to get myself one of these coins but it seems that everyone has sold out, I noticed that most stores are saying that they will be back in stock in November.

    Does this mean they will be a re-issue or that they are getting more stock back in?

    The hover board reminds me of another well packaged Tuvalu release, The DDS Red-back Spider. For what ever reason it was everyone just wanted that particular one and the premiums held. If it gains that much popularity then I guess those that miss out can either bid up the price or wait for the Chinese copies to come out.

    I can't get over the hype on these coins. The movies were good... How many people out there are Delorian or Back to the future fans ? Not like Back to future is like Star wars or being a Trekkie fan. Enjoy your coins for those who bought them.

    Nope, mintage figure is final. So not unless they didn't already allocate the existing mintage, which I doubt.

    I have a hoverboard for sale to capitalize on the hype. No one bought it yet! Two available! haha... if it goes to the way of the 2 oz Mouse, I will feel sad giving a bit of upside, but i think i'm in the middle.

    Hoverboard is still available from Perth Bullion... if you buy their Back to the Future set for $1084 including GST. They also still have the car for $135.

    I'm going to come clean now and admit that against my better judgement I ended up buying 1 each of the hoverboard and the car after I made my post stating that they will most likely be selling below issue price within a year. I'm hoping that most of the prognosticators here are right....
