Good morning all. The queen of questions is back with another one.

I read lots about collecting Kook's, Koala's and WTE's but never about the faithful Kanga. Does nobody like poor old Roo? Is he not collectible? :D

The RAM (royal Australian mint) silver kangaroos are very collectable but the new Perth Mint silver kangaroo is an investment grade bullion coin and sure looks like what its claimed to be when compared to other Perth mint bullion coins!

Perth Mint sells gold kangaroo coins originally called gold nuggets.

You can buy any animal coin living or extinct because birds and animals are popular ;)

RAM kangas are not really bullion IMHO, too much of the asking price is premium. If they sold em in lots(rolls/boxes) of 20/300 ala kooks around the same price they would sell a ton and they would be more popular. I buy em occasionally, but i'm pretty sure they will never give me anywhere near a decent return

Your IMHO will show as true when you compare the new pm kanga to a ram kanga side by side :)
