    But then you have to pay shipping and import fees. Not really worth it unless you are flying over that way

    I see kilo's for <$500 over in the states, got to love that.
    To walk into a shop with less than half of your pay and walking out with a KG of silver would be wonderful.

    That's why you have to marry well.
    If i was still working and the wife stayed at home (with the babies) the numbers would not look as nice at the end of the year.
    Those who say the wage gap between men and women is wide need to look harder.
    She is only 33 and 100k+ bonuses is pretty sweet now that the Uni degree is paid for.
    We do NOT live in Auckland so the money is not wasted on living costs.
    If you asked my lovely lady 3-4 years ago she would have said our money got wasted on pm's, but after a quick trip down the road to turn some coins into cash she become a believer:)
