..and this is why I can't take SilverDoctors seriously; "The Perth Mint Pops A Boner" http://www.silverdoctors.com/perth-mint-silver-sales-explode/
Pop a boner, it is slang for man getting an erection, it is a play of words on the fact that the chart suddenly goes vertical straight up
Watching silver recently, so many times it pushed up to 21 and so many times pushed back, but only a little. The long term graph is informative. The rate of fall near fits a derivative function. Unless the legs are kicked out, this looks like a bottom pushing up.
Hate to be a spoiler, but fast rallies like that in a down trending market seem more like short covering. Bear markets have that as a characteristic, they fall, fall some more, fall some more, then they are punctuated by sharp rallies. Just the opposite for bulls which climb the wall of worry and are punctuated by sharp declines.
Ill respond when I have more time. And no i didn't make this up. And you are an absolute troll, a hypocrite too. Also I point to the work of the late Adrian Douglas which I posted.
Need more time to research the definition of std dev? I can tell you made it up by your reference to percentage price. I'm not trolling, it's called maths.
Yeah I can tell. Did you just make that up too, or was that another one of your statistically brilliant calculations?
I did stats for one semester - well I was enrolled in it. I googled how to find a standard deviation. Something about averages, square root of the difference between the averages (the variance), then the square root of the variance or something. I used the 14 day MVA in USD and got about $1.23 from memory. Now if what I did was right, then the recent move was less than one SD. Now of course, I had no idea what I was doing and kept wondering if you can use a moving average to calculate a stand dev? So I googled that too - and then I got a sore head and surfed pron. :/ Trolls, village idiots, Satanists - gotta love the demographics here.
I stop at the 4th moments, that was too much to get into the 6 dimensions some dare call it dark magic, kind of out of your world, bring the gates here
