Do I hear any advances on $33.68? All silent, all finished- Sold, to the kooky precious metal investor! https://bulliondeposit.com.au/product/2016-silver-1oz-lunar-monkey-bullion-coin-pre-order/ Feel free to share any pricing as it comes available.
That's just nuts. I wouldn't touch them for anything over 20.00, hence why I won't be buying them. lol.
There should be a law for this kind of thing, well, perth mint should have more control of a RRP. The dealers are creating their own false economy by putting up an over inflated price on a new product. It's like a milk bar owner putting up milk as his stocks are going down, only 3 cartons of milk left, $5 a carton. or worse still, put the price of milk up because he knows they will sell anyway. Dealers are creating this rubbish false economy and it shouldn't be allowed for current issue product. Secondly it's the gullible stackers that buy it, just like many collectables they buy these lunars only because they believe they are worth more, silver is silver end of the day, lunars are just another bullion product and it's going to hurt a lot of people when all of a sudden there's no gullible stackers left to pay such high prices. It only happens with the silver, not gold, why? because too many people are trying to make money on silver where in actual fact all your doing is trying to make money from another gullible stacker, it's all a shaft, people willingly get shafted to then shaft the next person. They should be the same price as kooks or koala's, yet even dealers try and get $1 extra for the kook, it's ridiculous and greedy and another reason I flogged off my silver coins, a false economy.
Just don't buy the coins. If there is no demand, dealers will have to lower prices. Problem is, like you mentioned, there will always be gullible people buying them even at those inflated prices
Spot on... Do the talking with your wallet..And of course if they are damaged or milk spotted send them back from whence they came from. The excuse that they are a bullion coin sold at silver market price ( spot price ) needs to hammered on it's head. Why pay premiums on suspect goods that are purchased based on that it may have some collector value. This is not the sellers fault, but they have to be prepared that customer is king and not sell crap from mints that are peddling higher premium crap. Cheers
Yeah, I just opt to stay away from them from here on in. And I'll walk away from the kook if not priced accordingly.
Complaining about prices that are set and calling for laws against them is a bit stupid. I'm sure you won't be complaining if PM's double in price to what they are now.
I am a zodiac Monkey so this year is the only year I will buy silver lunars so yes i'm not happy about the premature inflating of the bullion. I'm the classical monkey, look at my zodiac personality, you see, you don't want to mess with a monkey..
