    So Koalas are now going to be only 60% of the mintage of the Kooks.. Wonder how this is going to effect the prices of old Koalas.
    My guess is over time more people will collect koalas in rolls with the aim of flipping down the track and the low mintage koala prices will outperform equivelent kooks/lunars.

    Koala looks c^ap.. but so did the 2014 on paper, but looked much better in the flesh. I suspect 2016 will be the same.

    Monkey looks kinda cute. Think it will look nicer on the bigger sizes coins.

    2016 kook captures Australia! I put it in the same class as the 98 and 2008 as the best looking kooks! They should have kept it for 2018 though.

    Looks like PM is watching!

    I want one now :)

    I didn't buy much 2015 PM stuff, I liked the gold kangaroo but prefer smaller older coins for gold so didn't get it (yet). Will definitely be getting a few 2016 kooks and koalas though. Will have to see the silver kangaroo in the flesh I think to decide.

    @Koala Collector

    The PM is issuing the Silver Koala in bullion quality only as 1oz an 1 kilo coin in 2016.
    Even the PM does not know what will be in future as long as it not confirmed.
    Many is pending in future sales of these and other coins.

    The 1oz and 5oz version might be in proof high relief version avialable for 2016.
    The one kilo in proof might be available in 2016 again too.
    But there is no official statement for a mintage yet.

    If this is approved by Parliament, by 2017, we should have this type of coins. As Legal document.

    I guess someone missed out on the Koalas sizes 1/2 & 10 Oz. :lol: :lol:
