Do either of these Dragons look fake to you? The one on the right seems to have much more detail in the Queen's hair. If I lay it out flat and just look down on it I can see all the detail in the hair no problems. I don't have to tilt it to catch the light. The one on the left has a little less detail in comparison, and I have to tilt it to catch the light to see the detail in the hair. I have seen some fakes online, but this coin has more detail than the fakes I have seen, but it has less than the coin on the right. So, initially this would make me think that the one on the right with more detail is the real coin and the one on the left could possibly be a fake. the only problem with that is that all my other 1oz lunar bullion from all the years look like the one on the left. And the privy bullion, on the right, with more detail is the exception in my collection. Is it possible the privy bullion was struck twice creating deeper detail? Or did all Dragon privys use a different stamp than the others? Or is my privy a fake? They both show the correct weight on the scales. Would appreciate seeing what people think. Cheers On the left: 1oz 2012 Bullion On the right: 1oz 2012 Bullion with Privy Source: Lunar Dragon Photo
Cheers for the replies guys. You've put my mind at ease Just found it a bit weird how the detail on the privy coin stands out from all my other bullion.
