Anyone pick the bottom and accumulate up a few more ounces at the low? I missed it my 5c, but was still happy to make a small purchase at that price :)

Good luck picking the bottom. Do you never accumulate a bit here and there?

You have the right idea Pete.
I too think it is going lower, but anything under $20 is something to feel happy about.

    Only monkeys pick bottoms.
I often accumulate here and there, I just never assume the dips are the last or the lowest. Especially on the same day they happen.

Is that what you paid per ounce or what spot was at?

I think the GSR might be about to finally wind back a little, unfortunately not because of silver going in a happy direction.

Funny that now with silver at 14.50 or so, it actually costs more at my local stores today than when it was 15.50, plus there is almost nothing left in stock except higher premium stuff. I wonder how all this will go when silver gets to $12 as some think?

Even Apmex has delays according to their site and has upped their premiums quite a bit in the past week or so. If silver goes lower and stays lower, then of course supply will find its way back into the system eventually.

I bought a handful of 2015 Chinese Pandas for $22 each because I wanted a few for the collection. Would have bought some generic but there is a 3 to 4 week wait time after I pay them my $$$.

Glad I have been dollar cost averaging for months (ok, years) and got tons of cool stuff that was available, and paid $16 to $18 roughly speaking (some coins a little more). That's about what people are paying now (if not more) with silver so nice and low.

The past few months they've finally gotten semi-competitive prices....
However, I won't be partaking in their current, absurd pricing anytime soon.

I used that just to show how even one of the largest online stores is low on some inventory. Where do you plan to buy if you don't want to pay premiums?

Yeah, I noticed that too. I always have to pay premiums, like anyone else - I'm just very frugal in my bullion purchases.
I stalk about 5-6 different sites. I'm not partial to one over the other - it's just a matter of who has the best deal.
JMBullion has got quite a bit of my business in the past....but I've recently found a place with even better prices.
It shall remain unspoken of. ;) lol

I don't want you to reveal any secrets. LOL! I only buy local since I have a few good dealers that I know and who generally charge less than the online stores (except when the online stores have those occasional online specials like 79 cents over spot, etc).

Well we all new these prices were coming (or guessed as much).
Now the older stackers that did not sell out during the bull will be kicking themselves, and the rest of us have a LOT more time to get lots and lots and lots of metals AT PRICES MANY TOLD US WE COULD NEVER EVER SEE AGAIN.
Those of us lucky enough to still be sub 40 years old, are likely to see 2 more bulls in our time, SO LETS ALL BE VERY HAPPY WE HAVE YOUTH going for us.
And for all the guys/gals near retirement that didn't sell into the last bull , teach the lesson loud to the newbies.

Lol. So many people stalking these forums. I'd rather them not have the same supply issues as Apmex.
(That will make their premiums outrageous like Apmex is currently, lol)

Must be nice to have a good local dealer that can sell at reasonable prices. None of my local dealers can compete with online prices.
PLUS - none of the local places have any silver in stock anyways... :|

The mailman is my local dealer. lol
