You have a very nice inventory there rarebullion. I really like the 10g JM poured bar that you had, let me know if you come across another one like it. JM gold poured bar in my collection.
Would you have an interest in these old rippers? My mate inherited them and asked if I could get him a price as he has no idea were to sell and he was going to just go to CASH FOR GOLD......Bloody hell I said STOP they are worth more than spot and they will not even give you spot..
The Westpac bar is a real beauty and definitely the pick of the crop. Just cannibalize my current collection to get the 5 oz Harrington so no dry powder left. Hopefully another collector will save it from the melt pot.
Acquired a small Rothschild bar recently (physically not in my hands yet). The first photo shows the actual bar and the second is stock photo from internet for reference. While it is not in the best of condition, personally I feel that the design is exquisite. I presume it was minted post-1967, after the business was sold to Engelhard. It does not bear the RMR stamp as with regular Rothschild bars, co-inciding with the ending of lease of the Royal Mint Refinery in London with the sale. Vintage yes, but do not know if it is considered rare. Hope experts here who are in the know can enlighten
Picked this guy up the other day. I've known they existed for a while but never actually come across one before. Perth Mint 1/2 oz World Expo 88 Button. These were struck on site at the 1988 World Expo in Brisbane. There is apparently a square 1 oz version also.
In the image is a carded 5 gram and 10 gram Perth Mint gold bar. Its the first time I have come across this style....believe they are vintage based on the swan facing left Don't know much info on them , so any help would be appreciated.
I have built a thread on these items. There are more idiots that don't appreciates than more input. Pictures have been taken down. The thread is still there.. They are the First Plastic version not Certicard Here
