I am a silver stacker and collecter sinds 2011.I buy some 1 oz.coins, rounds and recently some junk silver from the Netherlands(Guldens). My English is not perfect because it is my 6th language .
I have a brain disorder and can handle coins only for some minutes than i must stop because i begin to shake. For that reason i can not take foto's and so on(i should break my camera in time for sure),i make a lot of typefaults as a result of my desease also.So i hope you overlook my faults.I am very happy to be on the forum and will learn a lot here.I like panda coins, lunar,Rwanda serie but also 2,5 Gulden coins .I buy Always what i like most and wil not complete a serie when i don't like a coin in the serie.Except lunar coins and panda's the Lunar serie 2 i started with year of the horse.I will purchase every year one of that serie. My collection is still smal with about 60 different coins. Some coins i have a tube and others a couple of them.So i have in total 120 ounces silver but still stacking.

I like the Dutch junk silver, they have some nice large coins, especially the 2.5.

Do you come across much Belgique junk silver? I have a couple of the 1800s 5 Francs and the more modern 20 Francs but I don't see them come up for sale very often.

    Welcome.

There is verry little Belgium junk silver that you see for sale. Most is in strong hands from collectors. Some ordinary people hold a few coins from the kings of Belgium to go on to the next generation or stay in the family. They had mostly low mintage and are beloved by Royalists. In the Netherlands mintages were much higher and so you often see them for sale.
