I'd be curious to see if the last three 2-coin transporter issues sell out at anything like the rate of the first, or even second sets. Subject matter is everything and Voyager in particular isn't hugely popular. Mik
Although I think it's a good series where they went wrong was in the design of the packages... all in transporters. They should have themed each set different... space ship, transporter etc.
Ya and it wouldn't have been hard to change each transporter, all they had to do was change the color a bit and add a identifier as to which series it was for, name plate or some such , Deep space nine , Next generation .etc etc.
I think I'd have done maybe a single themed model or shaped box that held all ten coins, a bit like the RCM with the canoe set. Perhaps a Federation insignia or even the Enterprise saucer section. Would certainly have encouraged people to go for all ten coins which I suspect huge swathes of people won't do now.
Still available o PMs website. Do you think the lack of interest is due to: - Same old Transponder - Deep space Nine
Its due to the lack of flippers/resellers buying them because of no profit to be had. If these were selling on eBay for $60 to $100 profit they would be sold out at PM.
