    Everywhere...simultaneously

There are plenty of collectors who would pay many thousands of dollars for a 1 ounce silver coin. There are people who have paid considerably more than issue price for a raw 2014 5 oz proof Britannia. The value of any collector coin is completely subjective but to suggest that the 5 oz proof Britannia should be valued in the same way as a cheaply made bullion coin that is minted in the tens of millions is not sensible at all in my view. Instead if you want to make a much more apropos comparison, you ought to compare a highly sought after scarce silver proof coin with another that is as scarce, as much in demand, and has approximately similar features.

A bullion Maple Leaf is not even in the same galaxy as a proof 2014 Britannia.

Finally, no one is suggesting you pay more for a coin than you may ever be able to get in the future. And yet, no one can ever be certain what a very scarce, quickly sold out coin might sell for in the future. Paying $$4,000-5,000 for a raw 2014 proof Britannia may not be ensuring you make a profit a few years down the road but paying half or 1/3 of that might.

7500, he was talking about the 5 oz Gold proof version, not silver.

Several kilos of soil is $3 at the garden shop, but people in Sydney pay hundreds of thousands of dollars for a few square meters of the stuff just because it is located in a specific suburb. Suckers.

I haven't seen a price fore this yet. What do these Goddesses of Olympus coins sell for on the Perth Mint site?

    Edit:
Disregard. I see the sold out coins are $179.00 AUD on the site. Presume that was their sale price.

Perth mint checkout process is getting significantly WORSE than last time for Hera. I have been on the site, waiting for process order for more than 20 minutes, the time changes between 84 and 72 minutes, sometime go up, some time down. This is a JOKE

Same here. As I write its been processing for 75 actual minutes but it's showing a wait from 46 to 80 odd minutes. Just checked and it's now 249 minutes. If I don't manage to get one I'm done with the Perth Mint website. This will be the third time i've tried and failed to get an Olympus coin and every time has been a bloody nightmare.

do you mean Melbourne Mint site? they raised the international shipping now, for U.S, the shipping is AU$50, way too much, almost 30% of the coin cost.
AGSX also charge AU$60 for shipping alone, so a no go

I did get one from Direct coin, they limit 1 each person

By the way, Perth mint site is still not working.

I tried 4-5 times, but NONE of them got through. But now they are telling me I already ordered one. Do not know what is going on. So may be the first time did go through? but
I have not got any order confirmation. Not in my order list either.

    Edit,
Just checked my PM account, the 1st order did go through, so I got one after all. This means, as long as the order is in the queue, even if closed the browser, before getting confirmation, the order is still there and will go through. This is a comfort to know;)

Looks like everybody is sold out except PM.

    I'm on a 24 minute wait. We'll see.
