Saw that in october 2014 a new Maple leaf with a heart privy was introduced , as it looks for a support our troops addition, really would like to have one, but can not find it anywhere. Is the coin not out yet? Is there anybody who can sell this coin to me through Silver Stackers?? Rosland Capital has joined forces with Fisher House Foundation and Canada's Valour Place to create a custom designed coin by the Royal Canadian Mint, which will directly benefit the organizations through sales of the coin. The coin will be distinguished with a custom design, featuring a unique, raised heart technically called a privy mark, or mint mark symbolizing what Fisher House Foundation and Valour Place provide love and care, in the form of free accommodation for American and Canadian military and veterans' families, while their loved ones are receiving hospital treatment. A percentage of all sale proceeds will be donated to Fisher House Foundation and Valour Place. roslandprivyTo formally announce the on-sale date of the coin, Rosland will debut a new commercial spot featuring William Devane. A strictly limited mintage will be produced, with Rosland donating $1 for every coin sold. The coin will be sold exclusively by Rosland Capital and each organization will receive 50 percent of the donation. The partnership will also include an additional donation of $25,000 to Fisher House Foundation.
I did find a Coin World Article, but it does not offer much more than the OP's post: http://www.coinworld.com/insights/r...ue-privy-mark-maple-leaf--5-for-charity-.html http://www.roslandcapital.com/products/fisher-house-coin
are you sure you want it? It will have a mount everest of snow plastered on it in no time...you may not even be able to see the heart, it too will be covered with white snow (i.e. whit dots).
I wrote Rosland Capital and The Fisherhouse Foundation a mail to sell me a coin a week ago , but they both didn't answer the mail, very pitty ;-(
is there nobody who bought this coin or can get one?? Not really a profit for the Fisherhouse foundation i think
i can not find any coin on the internet of this kind apart from the Fisherhouse foundation, is this a scam or a advertisement joke, no one seems to heve bought this coin??!!
One dealer had one for sale on eBay. Sold for 100 bucks. So they will be coming out of the woodwork soon. Should have a fairly low mintage but not sure yet. This is the link to the completed eBay auction http://m.ebay.com/itm/231546747003?...73&_trksid=p2047675.c100011.m1850&_mwBanner=1
Okee great they come on the marker now, but this ebay seller doesn't ship to the Netherlands.. will patiently wait... again..
I cam pick these up at the Bank of Nova Scotia in Canada for market price. I have 2 bought for $18 US. The quality is high and has $5 face value U believe.
I haven't found this coin yet, it is getting really frustrating; they are not found anywhere on the internet but on Wikipedia it says that the mintage is 25000. Where are they then!!?? I can not believe that so much are made and not known on Ebay or elsewhere. If somebody on this forum has one for me to sell, you make me a very happy collector
Haven't seen one in the flesh. Was wondering if the coin was a fake but saw some sold listings on eBay. Very very expensive!
I was looking for this coin also and read that a investment firm out of California bought up the entire mintage of these. So unless they decide to start selling, wont see them anytime soon......talk about controlling the market.....buy them up for ~$30 a pop and sell them for $200
