    Hi All,

I bought one but being a newbie i opened and touched the coin which left some finger marks which i tried to rub off with a cloth and left some very fine scratches on the shiny section of the coin

Is this easy to repair or is my coin now worth spot price ? Tell me what you think (sorry can't post pic yet but will soon)

Someone may or may not pay more than spot for it, full disclosure upon sale is the main thing.
Might I recommend you invest in some cotton gloves if you wish to handle your toys in future.

I normally only buy bars or generic rounds that was the only capsule coin i have bought and it was only $10 more than the 10oz bar price so no huge loss for me luckily

I'll give you spot +$10 when your ready to sell. It would be nice to have a large coin I can actually handle.

Ya so true lol, I had a 2013 silver maple that I would keep in my pocket and handled daily, it looked rather cool after 2 years of pocket wear and tear. I think it was my fav 1oz silver coin , just loved how it felt and didn't worry about dropping it, I actually would drop it once in a while on purpose! I sold it on eBay, it sold quite well lol, well didn't get more then spot for it but had lots of interest/views etc.

Ok back to the start - does anyone know if this is easily fixable or not ?

I am thinking polishing it with compound / cloth but don't want to try in case i do more damage, has anyone here managed to do it successfully and how ?
