Star Wars coming back to coins in 2015 from the NZ Mint

    No info yet, just an excuse to post my picture :p

    The new movie is out in December and with the NZ Mint having the Disney rights and Disney owning Star Wars, it didn't take a genius to guess this may have been on the cards.
    Hopefully the coins will be better than the last lot which were ok, but pretty unadventurous.

    How about some suggestions to the mint on what you'd like to see?

    The license to NZ Mints for starwar has ended. Not sure will they renew it and mints star war next series.

    The first 3 series sell is bad. However, I did own the coins. It look good especially the packaging

    Thats the point of the post mate. It's been relicensed for the new movie.

    If it doesn't have Jar-Jar Binks and whiny dumbass Anakin then I'm not interested.


    A series of Star Wars ship might be OK though, plenty to choose from.

    A high relief of the Millennium Falcon might be cool since Hans and Chewie are coming back. :)
