I can't believe the clear strike and colour of this 1900 year old coin. Some Hellenistic Persian silver stacker took good care of this little bugger. It's beautiful in person, I'll take a proper photo with the kit soon, very sharp strike.

My 1st silver bar pour today, took a few attemps and hope it gets a little easier with practise. The bar is a little over 100grams and I poured it from my electric furnace with a 2kg graphite crucible. I need a 1kg crucible as it will be easier to handle and pour into these smaller moulds. Good fun anyway but pleased I geared up with all the safety equipment. [IMG] Keep stacking.

The other side can you spot the rough outline / map of Australia or Africa? Maybe I will get NZ next time Lol [IMG]

Picked up a cool 50oz this week. I am working to get 10 x 10oz stackers, just need 3 more to complete the stack. Also, I don't have enough tubes either, so I am focusing on getting more of them.

2015 50th Anniversary Australian coin set after a lazy visit to the Australian mint...yep swapped my fiat for more fiat over face value. Crazy :/ but felt that was a fair price for the free tour and check out some sov's and 1930 Penny's.

They were all at the one garage sale too :)[/quote]

I live for stories like this :)
This is why I love markets, garage sales and thrift shops, yet to find any silver, but have found some great things :)

    They look great!
