Saw this in Berlin and it's actually a pretty cool seven-ounce coin. Themed around the New 7 Wonders. First look. Not for everyone I know, but you really have to appreciate the skill-set at this mint, quite phenomenal. http://agaunews.com/?p=17448

Hey, I can see my old house!

Edit: Agree about the crystals, gilding might have been better but may not have been possible.

I thought I seen them somewhere... very very familiar look.

Then I realize I have these on my work desk; leftover after Valentines.

On a serious note, the spherical coin looks rough and the details are weak. It does look like chocolate in silver wrapper...

no comment, but I would agree with yrh. This is something of a kid opening a present and being excited about it for a day or two, and it goes on the 'trash heap' of plastic toys. While the value goes from X (super high) to Z (super low). Just my opinion.

Phwooooar. Now that I like. Can't find a distributor or price anywhere yet. Guess it'll be $850+

To be fair, these are early strikes and smartphone pictures. It was impressive in the hand. Unfortunately, I ddn't get an image of the antique version as it had been lent to a distributor and when it came back I couldn't get a decent image and they were swamped with people. It was very cool.

The weird Papal cuboid coin from last year has been re-released as a flat 'non-cuboid' gilded version with a mintage of just 115 pieces. Pretty rare. Weighs 6.5oz but haven't seen a price yet.

Definitely looks like something out of Star Wars. But I was thinking more of R2D2's head.

It is an amazing coin. I'd love to see one in person. Considering the work gone into it I guess the premium is justified. Limited number of collectors want to pay premiums like that though.
I watched the video. Did not appreciate their watermark covering 1/4 of the screen.
