I think the grading of so many coins last year really hurt this series. It also didn't help that with the 2014 coins with COA from Germany were more expensive to dealers than they were in 2013 even though spot was much lower.
I keep missing these and again I've missed out, I am subscribed to Perth mint, checked what new releases were coming out this month and heard nothing about it... How do people find out about this stuff it's driving me nuts in missed out on gods of Olympus and the stock horse series now I'm paying through the roof if I want to pick one up, any advice please pm me.... Btw 2013 I think stands out as the best design it's majestic...
I too always thought that I could get these coins through Perth Mint, but have never seen them their or with a comment "contact your local distributor for pricing". This year I have got a bit more wiser. The carded version is available from Downies - http://www.downies.com/ for A$59.00 and the COA version is available from EMK in Germany - https://en.emk.com/ for Euro 39.45 Plus postage in both cases.
Perth have about ten left on their site. http://www.perthmint.com.au/catalog...5-1oz-silver-coin-in-card.aspx?ProductID=3707 http://www.perthmint.com.au/catalog...5-1oz-silver-coin-in-card.aspx?ProductID=3707
Actual looks nicer! But something about it still seems off.. Too much blank space? Not enough clouds in the sky?
Here is 2013-14 pair, for US$160, which is a decent price I think, although you may need to ask the seller whether he ships to Aussie, and how much for the overseas shipping. My guess is around US$26, since that is what USPS charges for overseas Registered first class mail. http://www.ebay.com/itm/181692716758?_trksid=p2055119.m1438.l2649&ssPageName=STRK:MEBIDX:IT
Guys, Perth are dribbling these coins onto their web-site every few days. 14 April 2015, they had 10 and that same day (Night) they became un-available. Today, 17 April, they have 7 available. http://www.perthmint.com.au/catalog...5-1oz-silver-coin-in-card.aspx?ProductID=3707 Downies are out of stock but you can bet they may get another allocation soon. http://www.downies.com/Perth-Mint/A...k-Horse-1oz-Silver-Coin/6262/productview.aspx For those folk who are after the "single" bullion coin (Not Carded) that comes with a numbered certificate, Perth Bullion are selling them for about 54.90 each. http://www.perthbullion.com/shop/detail/pmstockhorse15sco1/
