Is anyone like me and they have there stacking goals to reach ?

Im slowly reaching towards some of my goals but way way off from my other stacking goals, all part of the fun...WHAT CAN I SAY I LOVE STACKING PERCIOUS METALS :)

One of my stacking goals is to reach 1000x 1oz silver bars (yes i know its not much of a goal but its one i want to obtain plus imagine 1000x 1oz silver bars laid out of the bed would look SWEET)

    Cheers, HAPPY STACKING :)

My stacking goal right now is to convince my kids to stop spending my money so I can stack.

I had goals but now I buy what's cheap and sell and trade what I think I can move up in the world with. I wouldn't want to miss something great because I was trying to get exactly 438 ASE's and 9 pamp 10oz Fortunas. My only goal is that my stack gets bigger and better. If that means trading Sydney mint sovereigns for scrap sterling silver or old kookaburras for 19th century US gold coins then that's what I'll do as long as there's value there.

Doesn't mean there aren't things I want or plan to get or that I plan to keep even if it isn't a profitable move but those are really in my collection, my stack is an investment. Unfortunately the lines between my stack and my collection are not clearly delineated. I'm trying to put together a set of type 2 Sydney mint sovs, really trying hard, but I'd probably sell or trade them, even my nice graded ones, if the right opportunity came up.

Well enough for a giant silver recreation great pyramid of Giza studded with rubies, emerald and sapphires and a giant diamond gold throne at least anyway. O and a solid platinum bathroom en suite to the throne room......visited ikea but got lost and could not find any solid palladium bookshelves......sigh.

    I like this post.
I had not figured you as the flipping UP sort of person.
I like that you can see value in the scrap and would trade gold for it if the scrap had greater value.
Many do not and this leaves a big hole for you and i to exploit and upgrade our own stacks for very little of our own $$$$.
    Nice:)

How do you come to a particular goal, do you just pluck a number out of thin air? Nothing too low as you want a challenge but nothing too high as you don't ant to put yourself off.

Is the time limit built into the goal, e.g. 1000oz in a year or in your lifetime?

I'll be at retirement age in 10 months. Assuming I live to 80, or beyond caring, I need 15 years x 52 weeks x the number of ounces I need to sell to prop up my super and pension.

Let's say 21 fifties in a tube equals 7 ounces a week. That's 16,380 fifty cent pieces. That could be considered a reasoned goal. You can then start massaging it by more or less ounces over more or less years.

I initially started with the aim of 1000oz silver and 1000 grams of gold. Both have since disappeared from the rear view mirror. I only buy the odd oz of silver here and there now and I'm not buying anymore gold at all until I see either $1100 or $1350. Until then it's shares, forex and dry powder

I take it one ounce of silver at a time.

I've got 2 ounces of silver so far and lining up a purchase for my 3rd ounce of silver for the end of this month.

After that I'll have a new goal, yep a fourth ounce of silver!

Hopefully the price goes down in time.

my initial goal was 500oz due to a video I saw where Mr Maloney explained to me that 500oz would buy me a house in the future.... Now that I reconize this is a pipe dream and have actually learned a thing or two about what I am buying I've met my initial goal and am now just slowing accumulating if I have extra cash I dont mind spending.
