Bonjour tout le monde -Hi everyone-

:D I have joined the silver stacking community few months ago now, I am posting actively on a French Forum and cause I lived in English speaking countries for few years I enjoy reading this forum every day. I'm juste a little player, trying to buy some 1 oz silver coins when I can. No bars.

My favorite section here is the Silver Coin one.

I am French, so if you have any questions and you think I can help, please juste ask. If I don't have the answer I sure will ask my fellow french stakers on the french silver stackers forum I told you about.

No personal relation with Australia except my few koalas and kooks' coins

Oh wait, my sister in law is living in Sydney for a year now, does that count?

I wont be posting much, but didn't want to come by every day without introducing myself properly. Good luck to all and sorry for any mystakes, at the end of the day my mother tong is still French!

    A bientot!

Thanks everyone for the warm welcome!

I live in Provence, South of France.

@Revils, to answer your question I am buying almost exclusively 1oz silver coins. Only modern.

Regarding what coins are popular to stack in France, there are 2 schools:

    - some people are only buying junk silver or bullion. They want to pay the cheapest price per gram.

Within this first school, some people are tageting old French coins like HERCULES coins

Some prefer to buy ASE, ML, Philharmonic, ...

I think it is safe to say that Hercules and Maple Leafs are number 1 respectively.

    - some people are collectors, they represent the second school. No need to develop, you know what someone who collect is like.

Finaly, all series are quite popular: Perth Mint series (Lunar, Kookaburras, ...), RCM series, Chinese Pandas, Rwanda African Wild Life, ...

    Haha! Very good!

G'day mate, grab a coldie as Aussies love a tinny or two and have a Captain Cook.

Plenty of good blokes and shelia's who are fair dinkum on here.

No worries won't go the Full Quid on the Stralian, so don't be too gobsmacked if you make this far.

    Nothing like a bit of dinky-di :)

Ha. I have been to Paris several times and most people absolutely refuse to speak English even though they obviously can. In general people there are not very helpful. I have been to many countries and never experienced this anywhere else. They say they are proud but it just comes across as complete arrogance and no willing to help. So in hindsight it was a stupid question to ask. However, I have met lots of very nice friendly and helpful French people from other parts of France.

    Thanks.

I know it's a good time to buy silver or gold coins (Aussies or not) in US $ but the Euro has collapsed againt the Dollar and even if spot price is dropping prices in my currency are not! I beleive you are experiencing the same frustration arent u?

By the way, I love the first coin with the crocodile, the spider looks nice as well.

Seriously you need to come with a translator next time you want to speak with me ^^

If there is a question in your post I am sorry but I can't answer haha. Didn't see any question mark so I think it's just a message. I recognize a word I undertstand, "mate", so I guess you are being friendly so... Thank you! :)
