Source: http://catalog.usmint.gov/u.s.-mars...t=undefined&q=undefined&cgid=product-schedule Doesn't look too bad, nice old style Silver Dollar with a Western Theme. I have never bought directly from the US Mint, how hard can it be?
I was aware of it. It is tempting since I live in Arkansas, but I wonder I don't think the commemorative coins do very well in the resale market.
Mintage of 500,000 for the silver and $47 a pop. If you do get tempted please get a second one http://catalog.usmint.gov/u.s.-mars...t=undefined&q=undefined&cgid=product-schedule
If he's gonna draw with his right, the handle is facing the wrong way...if with his left, the 2 seconds or so that it takes to ditch the poster may cause him his life. .
maybe chalk it up to an error coin and the value goes up to 5000 a coin? hehe. The 47.00 isn't what troubles me, it's the 500,000. lol. nah thanks. I'll stick with limited mintage numbers between 500 -3000. Ideally, I'd like to keep my collectibles between 100 - 1000. 500,000? or in the case of the baseball, 400,000...wowza. that's just too many dang coins.
I doubt that they are completely sold out. I would imagine the allotment they got is gone. That's my bet.
US mint is helping the flippers, out of stock, back in stock, out of stock again, back in stock again.
