Currently around $190 USD on most exchanges - Bitstamp touched $152 before recovering 30% in value. If it gets under $100 it will be very interesting. Money to be made in this volatility if you've got the risk appetite to day trade it (or more relevantly, minute trade it!).
its funny it took really of when precious metals started going down, it would be interesting if it went down to i dont know $5 and for precious metals to restart their rise
Giveth the decreasing returns on mining and the low prices you have to wonder about bitcoins future. It's utility hasn't really increased, tor nodes being owned isn't going to help, projects to bring bc to the masses like the bc atm fizzling out and laws preventing it's use in physical wallets being enforced...does it really have a future? That's before you mention the exchange hacks abs user extortions. I think it will be around for a long while and has genuine utility but are there any reasons on the horizon for the price to bottom any time in the near future? What stops the price going to $10? Scarcity isn't really doing it. Really not trying to attack bc, I'm genuinely interested in knowing what people who follow it think.

The guy who sold a pizza for 10,000 btc is probably laughing too but I think he'd probably be laughing harder if he sold a year ago. Certainly makes me feel better about metals prices.
