    Hey everyone,

A colleague of mine found 11 of those while tidying a relative's attic.
He was thinking about driving up to Canberra to get them to a dealer but is trying to figure out roughly if it's worth the drive.
I don't know much about those, we've checked on enay but prices vary greatly. could someone please give me a rough estimate of their value? They are all more or less in the same condition as the ones pictures below.
    I think there is also a 1933 shilling, a 1935 florin and a 1918 shilling.

Any advice would be much appreciated.
    Cheers

    Hi

First of all don't bother driving to Canberra if its too far.

The reason why is that judging from your images of the coins, the coins seems to be cleaned and cleaned to a point where they would not be of high value.

It looks like someone has used steel wool on the coins. Coins especially pre decimal silver are still quite soft the hard abrasions from harsh cleaning will just ruin the coins value.

best to hope for is list them on ebay for $19 - $25 each they should sell.

coins are graded from left to right

VF/VG, VF/VG and the bottom one Fine/VG , you must mention these coins have been cleaned or you might get returns which would cost you money on ebay.

    hope this helps

    James
