I'm looking for bars that have the year of manufacture stamped on them. Prefer poured but also interested in extruded or stamped or whatever. I know NTR has been doing the lunar thing since 2012 and I've got a few of those. But looking to add some others. Anyone know of other bar producers that stamp the date on the bars? As an alternate, a bar with a uniquely identifying feature or serial number that can be easily dated (I don't think most bars with SNs can actually be dated...).

Love the look of the Baird cast bars. Know if they are available in the US?

Here's a longer way of saying, "No, not really.. Well, sorta.."

    and..

    http://www.perthbullion.com/shop/detail/bairdsbk1/

You might be able to save a few bucks if you get a 5x eBay Bucks Bonus..

Otherwise, ordering directly via PB might be the better deal, even when factoring in the PayPal surcharge & slightly higher shipping. (Yes, they ship to the US.)

    Break out dat calculatorz!

    Finally, I agree with Taz..

I don't have many, but one of my favorite kilo bars.

Too funny. I just completed my order at Perth Bullion right before you posted this. It worked out well because they still had a 2013 NTR Year of the Snake 10 ounce bar that I have been looking for! :)

SilverTowne also does a few minted ones they date. Generic stuff, so not sure how the quality is.

And if you're interested in vintage stuff, there are a ton of dated 1-oz minted bars out there from the '70s.

US Assay bars (minted version) are dated 1981. Nice piece of history. Sometimes you can find them in good condition for a decent price.

All bars should have serial numbers and date of manufacture. The cost wouldn't add 10 cents to the price.
