Or am I just late to the party?

Either way, happy to have this option. Thanks, JM!

Cheaper than a credit card & quicker than a paper check!

    Taken from the email..

"On the checkout page, you will input your checking (not saving) account routing and account number, and we will use those details to generate an electronic check for settlement of funds. Funds will transfer from your checking account to ours, and from there, your order will ship out after a 5 business day clearing period.

We are happy to announce that eCheck payments will qualify for the full cash pricing discount, allowing our customers to lock in the lowest pricing anywhere while using a simple, safe, and convenient digital payment method."

Not sure what the Aussie equivalent would be..

    Direct debit EFT.

We've had it for quite a long time.

The system isn't new here, either. But many of the US dealers & mints are a bit behind the ball on this, for whatever reason(s).. Perhaps fraud risk?

Scottsdale has had it for a while, anyway.

    Guys,

I have an order in the cart, BUT, waiting to see what happens tomorrow on the spot price. I have ordered from JM 1-2 times before. I just looked at my CART for payment methods, and under their accepted Payment Methods, it doesn't say anything about an "E-Check", or ACH, which is what an e-check is.

Look at the link for payment methods:

    http://www.jmbullion.com/about/payments/

Yep, just looked again, not there. I just read, you got an e-mail about it, so maybe it is coming, but not here just YET??

According to the email that those have received so far, sounds like your JM Bullion account has to be approved on their end first for eCheck payments.

Maybe contact them in hopes of bumping yours up in the queue?

When you start to check out and get to the "Review You Cart" page you should see the "eCheck" option below the "Paper Check" option.

    Hi all,

Yes, we did begin accepting eChecks. We are currently using an internal matrix to determine if a customer is qualified based on their purchase history with us. It is a fraud prevention measure to ensure we keep this payment method safe and inexpensive. For those of you who aren't qualified yet, feel free to shoot me a PM and I can see about getting you approved early.
