GRYPHON MINERALS (GRY) received it's permit. 20years for now. This is one miner I have been looking into over past few days. I put in a bid last night for today's opening & then raised the volume of shares post this good news ;)

Another I'm keen on is CHESSOR RESOURCES (CHZ) due to it's promising credentials....

    Nice timing :)
The two gold stocks I hold are currently in the red, will keep holding though. Noticed a few have had good jumps recently, probably a lot of ppl scooping up around these lows.

Right place @ the right time as I'd just researched it prior lol....

PIR is very lucrative also @ present if you seek a very near term reward. Another I have jumped into today but not as a frivolous deal. I've been watching this miner for over 18 months.

I actually made the brokers some money today lol as I sold shares in other companies @ a deliberate loss to get in to PIR @ this time. Having said that, I'm still up after fees, even though I sold @ losses due to GRY gains covering these. Pheeew, what a morning. Think I need a beer.

These miners I sold shares in today I fully intend getting back in soon. Won't be as easy though as I will need to get in when they are a little down to cover broker fees again but, this was still worth it for me anyway.

P.S. I did buy some more in GRY just before I jumped in with PIR.

LOL....I may even enter again next week as I intend to jump in 4 specs & 1 producer before years end & wait out Jan Q4 reports from there. Intend to hang in them til some real action ie: t/o offers or production (lol for most) I've given up trading for quick profit now due to roller coaster US POG. Down nearly $15 incidently on US weekly close today so, Monday will have some cheap consolidating Going on on these juniors I would expect.

Just be aware of Gryphon's achilles heel (low grade) in this low gold price environment guyz :/

Yes, such clutses this Chesser mob turned out to be but, management were always alouf & lack of news should have spelt BEWARE to all of us way back. So much has changed in the last 6 months for even solid junior explorers. Even producers for cryin out loud. Look @ Beadell! Who woulda thought such a promising miner would be decimated by shorters unrelentlessly? Cannot believe how difficult it has been for both gold & miners. Even looking @ fundamentals etc, somhard to see these juniors to production. Short term, their all crap. It's only if you can hold out & ignore sp for time being that it'll be worth it.

I bought a very small position in gryphon, bedeall and crusader today. I figured they couldn't be beaten down much worse than they already are and if the last 36 hours metals move is the beginning of something they might have a bright future even if the rest of the asx looks dire.

    Fingers crossed.

I think you're onto a winner with crusader :) debt doesn't need to be repayed for another 2 years now so all cash can be funnelled towards Juruena. They are working on creating a desirable product with the posse fines. So hopefully next year we will be making some cashflow from that or at least we can get rid of the stockpiles so posse can be expanded easier to get the high grade lump ore. I'm not going to take any money out of savings to buy shares but I am working lots of overtime and not contributing to savings for a little bit, hoping to pick up another 10,000 cas shares within the next fortnight. It's a play on iron ore and gold. Both look promising for crusader

    Anyone else still holding GRY?
I just got the huge buyout scheme booklet, GRY are being bought out by Teranga (TGZ).
0.169 Teranga shares for every GRY share.
I bought at $0.073 currently at $0.22, so 200% gain for me :D
At the chageover price the TGZ shares are worth $400 more than the current GRY share value, so I might as well take the offer.
Any reason I shouldn't and take the profit now and run?

    I'm still holding.
Nice buy in price silverDJ. Personally I'm going to continue holding, my reason being that I'm not selling any gold stocks until gold skyrockets higher
