Panda image is from the 1985 gold coins so guessing some sort of souvenir round. Have you tested it for realness?
See the AMC above silver. A silver round made by the American Medallion Corporation. There is also one with the 1983 gold panda design.
S. Ohno, I did a search for the coin under American Medallion Corporation Panda and nothing came up.... but are you saying that the coin isn't Chinese but American? Thanks. House, the coin is not in my possession so I can't do much testing to it.... I though it was an interesting panda coin and I had no idea where it was from.... Still doing my research and will post more when I find more info... Thanks.!

I love Pandas and coins like this one just shouldn't be around imo, its ugly! Does nothing to promote the series to inspire potential investors in Pandas, it's not officially recognised, can't see the point of it. I once bought coloured '07 Pandas, that was pointless, gimmicky and wish I hadn't now Apart from some Aussie coins, they're the coins I most want rid of. no, No,NO!!
I don't think this coin is Sino-American, I think it is Una Onza De Plata China, osito Panda, ley 999,superbonita.
