I came across this video by accident - a guy with an impressive stack of gold and silver. Dozens and dozens of ounces of gold, a lot more silver. Although, much of it is not bullion. There are lots of vintage silver coins.
I think that would take me a lot longer than 6 years to stack! Even when I'm done stacking in 30 years I don't know if mine will look like that. Wow!
Yeah, wow! But when one can stack pure silver, then those old dark-stained used coins make little sense. I was surprised to see the guy even has a bunch of tiny little old coins. The video was uploaded in April 2014. Says "6 years of stacking", so I reckon he must have started at around 2008. After 3 years, he resisted the temptation of not selling all that silver at the high peak
I know that we are all at different stages of stacking, and to some this is a huge stack. But I would think that quite a few SS members have that same amount or even more. Not that any of them are going to tell. I think it would be awesome to see a list of the size of every members stack in ounces. To do this anonymously; would involve something like every state have a meet and place the number of onces on a piece of paper and put it in a box. Bit like a ballot paper box. For example : Silver Gold 200 10 20 2 1000 15 300 0 0 20 500 0 250 50 Then place a thread on SS which just shows a list of numbers (ounces), like above. We would not know who owns what, but it would be fun to see what proportion of stackers are at what stage of stacking. I think there would be a lot of us going wow , wow & WOOOOOOOOOW. I know it will never happen, but just a thought
