Thanks, I'd be interested to see what people think of this coin when they see it in person.

It is looking nice, although it doesn't look like silver at all.

What I didn't realise was that it's flat on the queens head side, which makes sense but with all the domed coins popping up id assumed this would be as well. The design is struck, although it's quite shallow. It's a good addition to the series

Got mine couple of days ago. The coin is flatter than I thought. And the queen side is flat! Still, good looking coin.

The real 3d coins of this kind I saw are "Canyon Diablo Meteorite" and "Erta Ale Volcano". Both from Mint of Poland.
The deepness, shape and ultra high relief is uncomparable with Moldavite Impact coin, Mint of Poland is many steps ahead CIT in this case. However is still a nice piece.

Agreed Alexbecks, the Volcano Erta Ale is lightyears more advanced a design than this coin. Notice how on this inferior moldavite coin, the shadows are painted onto the coin because the coin is just basically normal relief, not anywhere near the high relief and curvature of the Volcano Erta Ale coin.

Granted, I like interesting looking coins, and the moldevite coin is interesting....but not really so innovative and not nearly as 3D in comparison to the Volcano coin.

The painted on shadows are a bit like how they use makeup to highlight the abs on actors who don't really have any. With the Moldavite coin, I think they were trying to keep the width within the range of a standard 1oz coin so it needs a little "help" to highlight the relief.

Well, also Canyon Diablo similar coin is made of only 1 Oz silver, but its high relief is way better than Moldavite coin.
No need to say that the Mint of Poland one (Diablo) is selling on feebay close to $300.00 while the CIT Moldavite impact in the range $60-$80... market judges... :)
