I think they will be around a while but not how they are currently. The USA are trying to bomb them out of existence currently as well as other nations. I dont think they will ever be totally eliminated but they will probably be stopped progressing and loose much of the captured ground. I think this new gold currency coin is fantasy. I dont agree with ISISS or what they stand for, but I just think it is ironic that the Actions of the USA caused groups like this to form and rise to power and now they are fighting them after arming them and supporting them earlier on.
many Islamic groups have advocated for the introduction of pan-Arabian or pan-Islamic gold and silver currency. If a couple big oil selling nations got in on it and started demanding settlement in gold it could get interesting. I'd really like some ancient Baghdad gold Dinars and imitation Dinar crusader coins. I'm mad for dark ages coins but I've never felt I've known enough about them to make any real purchases.
