How to respond to ebay scammer?

    Sounds like it worked out, just sucks going through that hassle. They probably found out they had no ground to stand on and you were not going to give it without proof. People seem to think all Ebay sellers have a store or buisness and we can take the loss when most of us just do it on our free time

    How long is fair to wait for a seller to respond when there is an issue with an item? Sometimes there will be honest mistakes that can quickly be resolved, but if the seller is not initially responsive, how long is reasonable to wait before escalating?

    2 days...but check eBay rules to make sure there isn't a max time. There is but I think it has been extended to a long time.
