    Hi friends,

I'm just wondering about Melbourne Mint... I looked on they're website and you gotta like make an appointment to see them.

I donno about you guys, but this is impractically bull shit for me. .... Spot prices change, and could go up allot by the time I reach my appointment.

Does anyone know if they demand ID when buying off them in person? Or can you just buy off them without the whole snowden routine??

    Thanks!

Then go somewhere else like Goldstackers. They should only ask for ID if you buy over $5k

For silver or gold? Just had a quick look for comparison for the 5gr, 10gr PM bar and 1oz gold coin. GS was cheaper for all. Silver seems just slightly more expensive but there's always a small premium for PM bars over generic bars.

Yeah. I just realised they are ran by the same people that run ABC Bullion.

Yeah, but the problem with W Davis is he never has stock when you need it.

When the question is raised of where is a good place to buy cheap Silver (1 kg) bars in Melbourne I noticed people here usually always recommend Gold Stackers as the cheapest place but I always noticed that Gold Buyers Melbourne are always cheaper on them.

Currently Gold Stackers do 1kg bars for $633.20

and Gold Buyers Melbourne is $615.30

Gold buyers Melbourne only sell what comes in the door , they don't source from anywhere else
And you get what you get , unlike at GS
MM is the marketing end of ABC Melbourne ;)

Well, the past week or so I noticed that Gold Stackers has been "out of stock" on low premium 1kg bars and Gold buyers Melbourne have not.
