Just curious if anyone else removes bars from the protective sheet ?

I'm planning to remove them and place them into airtite capsules as it would be much easier to stack :)

I do. Don't trust those sheets or any sort of plastic packaging after a few bad experiences and discussions with a few members about the same issue. Airtites are a good way to go but if you're a big stacker, it can turn into a fairly costly exercise.

Sold them all except for Big Bertha, too good of a paperweight to let go.

I kept ll my apmex 1oz bars in thier giant sheets. They look nicer that way, not sure about it the long run. The 10oz plastic sheets the bars come in are not as airtite and I remove those ones real fast.

The 10 oz Geiger and Southern Cross minted bars fit nicely into the Air-Tite Stacker Bar cases. Takes up a little more space, but keeps them all neat.
