    I have found many examples of these coins for 1797 but I have not run accross any from 1799 though these coins appear in the literature. Where theee coins ever released here in Australia?

    Only half-pennies were struck in 1799. While they had the same face design, they did not have the large rim like a cartwheel penny.

    I wonder if there is a book on pre-federation Australian coinage and tokens. Does anyone know?
