Someone in the USA, Oregon put theirs up for sale with a BIN of US $1500 and it SOLD http://www.ebay.com/itm/2014-MEXICO...3pvdFWNzD%2BPgyNWLmlg%3D&orig_cvip=true&rt=nc One can only guess how much higher it could have gone. As soon as mintage numbers come out of the Libertads, we may even see higher prices
Didn't see that coming. I'll just sit back and watch And thanks again, Torcan for the heads-up on these.
I'm not sure if it was mentioned, but there are 2 different boxes these come in. One that the bank declined to use and one that they approved, but due to stellar quality control, the sets were issued in both types. I doubt it will make much of a difference, just wanted to make you all aware. Plus, I like the comedy that Mexican production supplies me....
I gotta say, those are some beautiful looking coins! I should have scooped up one when they were offered for sale. Oh well..
Just curious or is it my ignorance but how is it that an eBay seller is selling an "uncertified " 2014 libertad seven coin set???? http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/181556372536?ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1438.l2649
^ looks like a real set, maybe they just left out the cert from the picture? damn, didn't see the inital post, missed out.
