Researching on behalf of a friend.I was wondering if anyone knew the manufacturer logo, its like a Capital "A" with a heart shape with no curves just straight lines for the horizontal line on the letter. has the no. 2408 on it, maybe a serial number?with the weight and purity on it. It is a cast bar shaped like a kit kat, 1kg bar.
Hi billybob888, thanks for welcoming me i couldn't figure out to put a picture on, i am still getting used to the site. it said i couldn't and needed to ask permission from administrator. could i possibly send you an email of the pic if i cant get it onto the post? Kind regards, agnzag
Thanks guys, Yeah I contacted the administrator, have to wait a week, an anti spam feature. Hopefully you can check it out later. Kind regards AGNZAG
never seen it, total stab in the dark here, maybe an old Alabama mint mark? A for Alabama and the heart for "the heart of dixie".
I recognized it immediately, It's the ALCOA symbol...are you sure it's not an aluminum ingot. On a more serious note, I bet it's somewhere on this list... http://silveringot.blogspot.com/2013/03/the-list.html
Btw jmbullion has a typo on its site that sold me it's weekly deal of 10 Britannia 1oz coins for 4$ less than market price! My bill was 141.06$ check em out before they cover it up!!!! It will be found in its spot price as .62$ and total of ten should ship for my price!!
Thanks for all your help, i thought it might possibly be A-mark also. I have zero history on the bar unfortunately.
