Personally I would go for the sovs and the cents. They have more street cred :)

You'll still end up with a 1966 50, no matter how many times you flip it. ;)

on the other side of the, err, coin, is that you end up with more metal with the second option.

What are those bars in your Avatar?

They look like the low premium XAG 1oz bars, but shinier.

You get more history (read potential numi premium) for the Sovs and 50c option.

However, if you believe the Gold/Silver ratio is due to drop you might overweight silver instead, in which case large lumps, perhaps.

If you really want coins and all silver, get something that is low-ish premium but still has the potential for accumulation and is, ideally, overlooked and unpopular (and thus cheaper). Privy snakes, perhaps :D

Right I went with the first option, sort of.
    I came home with
    71 x 1966 fiddys
    3 x Gold Sovereigns
1 x Gold $200 Proof 1989 Frill Necked Lizard boxed and with cert(my first Numi and posssibly last).

    Cheers for the comments.
