It would be around 12 months ago you last had a job. I think it's fair to say you have no interest in getting one and no one wants to employee someone who says they can't find one in 12 months. October 28-29 should be the date that QE ends if they end it then.

I beg to differ. I've had friends who have given up finding a job in Sydney and have moved back to HK.
They all had decent exp. graduated from syd uni. still no luck.
depending on your industry, and if you want a job in your industry where you cen develop/kickoff your career. ie. not a random callcentre job... it's tough and difficult to land a job these days.

Even harder if you have no relevant exp.

disclaimer: obviously different scenario if you have connections, that's how the real world works.

No licence does restrict options, it is a requirement at many jobs. Never mention it it job interviews, unless they specifically ask.

That is literally a multi-billion dollar question, given the answer's potential for an opportunity to immense profit.

That's unfair. It's fallacious to assume someone has no interest in getting a job simply because they have not been able to find employment for an extended period.

In fact, this sort of assumption is known as the just-world fallacy. It results in blaming the jobless for not finding a job, the poor for being poor, the weak for being victims, and in more extreme cases, blaming women for being raped.

If you could stop being a fukking asshole that'd be great.
Considering you support government policies that kill jobs you should stop yourself commenting on people who can't get jobs due to these policies.

    No sympathy for him

He had a job after being long term unemployed, bitched and moaned constantly whilst there and quit and now cant get another, whilst my tax dollars that I pay from being employed go to him I will tell him what I think of him, and other long term dole bludgers like him.

There are plenty of jobs / opportunities out there if you are willing to get up or your arse and look / take them.

I'm impressed you can tell him what you think while your mouth is full of Murdoch media cock. You'd probably be the first to complain bitterly if the middle class welfare teat dried up. Careful you don't choke on your hypocrisy.

Im a tax payer and pay my fair share of tax. I don't receive much "middle class welfare" We dont have kids, 2 income household where I earn too much for anthing. I have solar panels and that is is for gov "handouts" for me, which I spent a lot to get installed. Of course I will take anything they government has offered me back from the taxes I pay to them,l but currently that is not much.

You would be a fool if you did not.

But that is different to having no job paying no taxes and still having your hand out, while being long term unemployed ( and probably not even trying to look for work just enough to fill out the center link paperwork -- probably apply for CEO and director jobs )

It's also fallacious to assume how I came to have such an opinion when you're not aware of TheEnd's history surrounding his unemployment prior to you joining the forum. Most people who are actively seeking employment don't simply quit casual jobs after being unemployed to go back on welfare benefits.
