    to each his own.
something I never understood, how can people claim to have stopped stacking silver, yet linger in a site called silverstackers?
perhaps there's a site called fiatstackers? Just sayin.
to answer your q, not much is diff in the last twelve months. I continue to stack(not fiat), only the prices keep getting better and better. Cannot resist buying more and more as the prices get better and better. And I'm not one that has a working crystal ball. My hindsight is clear, but I'm not betting on a bottom

I'll happily chase these prices down and keep buying.

Will be interesting to see where it goes this week. I'm going to take a punt and say I expect it will just bounce along where its at for a few days.

    $19.89 AUD. Shatting intensifies.

In technical analysis terms, its looking like a mild unshatting/reshatting stutter cycle.

As you can see below, the AUD and gold also are showing interesting chart patterns. The AUD has the classic Etch-a-Sketch boobies patterns while gold is just kinda doing its own thing.

I'm waiting for it to shat all the way down to 5.00, but I'll take more at 15.00. Can everyone just sell their coins already, flood the market, so I can pick some up really cheap? Please?

I have been creeping on this forum for awhile, and I am kind of turned off by all of the short term investors.

I am not perma-bull by any means (which was a new term to me before I googled it), but the main thing that gives silver or any metal an attractiveness to me is it's permanence.

Once you own physical metal it is with you or your family and future generations forever.

Really the only ways you part with it or your family/future ancestors is through theft or careless loss.

The threads I have read recently are mostly those on short term positions, and in my opinion they are missing the true point of owning metal.

Can money be made on the trade of physical metal? Yes.

But I argue the fact that the metal is inherently valuable, and can never be lost means you NEVER LOSE value/money on the metal.

Only the short term people lose. I kind of groan reading negative postings about how silver is under performing because the main point is being missed.

The total number of ounce of silver on this plant is FINITE. What does this mean? It is inherently valuable, and in the future it may be used into exhaustion.

    What does this mean?

    Silver is always inherently valuable.

You are complaining about a priceless commodity that is being burned through with industry, that has limited above ground stock that is not actively mined going down in price?

What are you losing max? $10-20 per ounce? That is alot?

    I call that small thinking.

Of course that is just my perspective.

Idk... Your opinion may be different than mine.

Based upon recent newbie posts, there must be some school project on silver.

All non-renewable items are limited in quantity, but none are priceless. Silver is being actively mined.

Yes $10-20/oz is quite a lot. The object is to make money. Buying regardless of price is not wise for investing.

    Quite the assumption.

"Your" Objective is to make money. Not mine. This does not mean I will not buy low, because to obtain what is Finite for
dirt cheap is obviously a great deal :D

If you are trying to use silver to make money... :D *news flash* you are in a rigged game.

    Good luck to you.

$10-20/ounce is significant for some who is looking in the short term. It is nothing for someone looking in the long term.

As long as the purchase was made with the lowest price being found at the time... I say and ounce is an ounce!

Except watch your silver companies children :D only get the best. ASE's or Sunshine ;)

You also missed the point. Last time I checked silver can only be created in a supernova.

Guess that makes this a Finite resource no matter how fast it is mined out of the ground.
