So someone with zero rep posts a Sov on Feebay and a description valuing it at around $15k because of errors. There are some bids up to around $100 then a mysterious zero-rated bidder drops 2k on the table (I swear I saw it go to over 1k and then back down).

Is someone cooking up a profile? Or are the lunatics in charge of the asylum?

I think you are spot on with the lunatic comment. I don't have my book handy but the price and the 'bids' do seem dodgy. If I was going to outlay that sort of money it certainly wouldn't be on ebay.

This is a bodgy ebay sov sale too. Compare the first two photos of a very nice sov to the others of a well worn one. Bloody ebay.

Well that was good. Questioned the seller and he emailed straight back. The first photo was a stock photo of a nice sov. for reference but when he new what he had done he tried to remove it but cannot after a bid has been placed. He contacted ebay nothing can be done.!!!! He is contacting the bidders to explain that it is not the coin for sale. So hope his out come is ok.

I'm impressed, and agree (I don't spend much time looking at Sovs over $500 :D)
