Looks pretty old but I can't find another one like it anywhere on the internet. No mint mark doesn't help any. But tombstone did have silver mines. Consolidated and tombstone territorial are the only 2 I have come up with so far. But none of the bars writing or styles line up right. The B is oddly shaped and the 9s are all on top of each other. Oh and it weighs 3 oz
Well that info I already have don't ya think. And things aren't always what you pay for them. And I wasn't asking how much it was worth
An interesting looking bar. Can't help you with the origin, though. BUT,it is possible that it may be a "one off" hand poured bar made by a hobbyist/enthusiast. A few people here on SS have made their own hand poured bars, for fun and profit. The Tombstone logo suggests it was made in the U.S. Have you contacted the seller for info? The trail might have gone cold,if it has passed through a few hands
Yeah seller didn't know anything. I also was leaning more towards a hobbyist at this point but thought I'd give it a shot and see if more minds could prevail. Thank you for your input
That was the closest I found also. Very similar. The B and the E also differ. If they used the same font that would have been enough for me but they don't so the hunt continues. Don't think anybody will find any info on Google. I'm gonna need some body into old west silver. Or someone who owns a coin shop in az might be useful haha
