I used to think that only automobile companies engaged in shady, duplicitous gimmicks like releasing a car for sale in the summer of this year with a model year they apply to it of the following year. So, a car released in July 0f 2014 will be claimed to be the "2015" model....it doesn't get much more dishonest in a bald-faced way than that. But I've since learned that some mints are engaging in something similar by releasing in a current year, coins which have a future date. So, in keeping with this trend, my new mint is offering it's Year of The Goat pre-release sale to help you get a little bit of a jump on the rest of the 2159 Goat coins that will be available before 2159:
I think you may be wrong in your depiction. I would be more inclined to put a pic of soylent green on the coin. The way this world is going, that goat may be extinct in 2139
No complaints from me. I picked up 2 rolls of the goats. I done with my allotment. Last year I got a 100 horses...not doing it with goats. Done. Back to kilos I go.
how dare you even try to pre sell this? there isn't even any confirmed design yet. im going to submit my design for 2159 colorized version...
Hoping the 2015 Goat design lives up to the design standards shown in this thread..... Keep bringing them on.. Goat comp go! Source:
I think it only says that 2159 will be year of the goat/sheep which is truth, I will not be surpised if the obverse will show 2014 as the year of the issue
Sorry DanielM, but I believe the rules state that the regular design must approved before submitting a colorized version.
