Not sure if this post is in the right category ?

I bought 2 guineas yesterday, both in nice condition.
Bought purely as investment with a long term view (15 years+)

Anyway, one of them may well be of interest to you guys down under ?

    A 1788.

Apparently this is the year the first British colony was established, which then went on to become NSW ?
I had no idea of this fact when buying them, so, a bit of a bonus :)

The pair cost me 1000, about $1808 AU.

I'll post some pics tomorrow when I have access to a decent camera.

    The other one's a 1798.

    Neither were made publicly available.

Reverses look nice, can we see the other side?

Picture doesn't really reflect the details.

I'll try and get some better ones.
