Hi everyone, I am fairly new the stacking world and had been searching for a good forum to read and post about precious metals. I visited a few different sites and this seems to me, at the least, to be the most active forum. I am almost exclusively a silver stacker, it is in my price range. I have been buying silver since about a year. Just a little bit at a time, slowly building a small stack. I would consider myself 80% investor and 20% collector. Investment wise, I like having a small portion of my investments in PM to help protect against inflation. However, I do like the idea of tangible assets and something to take out and appreciate everyone one in awhile. I will say, I do fear a super inflation economic situation, so I do not invest all my money into PMs, but on the other hand, I do not usually hold on to significant amounts of cash either. I would rather invest my money in another type of financial vehicle. I have been reading some posts online as guest for a little while and more recently as a user. I do truly appreciate the vast amount of knowledge and experience that is available in this forum. I look forward to more reading, good discussions, and of course more stacking with everyone on this forum. Glad to be here, Jamie

Welcome Jamie The edit tab should be bottom right area of your post. I am not sure that there has ever been a situation where the world's reserve currency experienced hyperinflation, so I don't worry about that scenario either.

Welcome! I like the 80% Investor 20% Collector get out clause! It reminds me of a comedian who walked out on stage and said he was going to give the audience a bit of comedy and a bit of poetry. If no one laughed at a joke, it was poetry instead!
Thank you to all for the warm reception. I am from the First State, Delaware. Born and raised. Jislizard, 80% investor/20% collector is great scenario as it allows me to justify pretty much any purchase in my head. Especially, when I go on a buying binge.
