All I can find is a company RSBL but it doesn't list pics of the coins you can buy like ABC or Perth mint.

Nope, doesn't appear to be any sort of Gov issued bullion coin as far as I can see. Wonder if it's because they're more into their gold as jewellery and bars

A couple of the big name Indian jewelry traders produce gold coins and bars under their brand name within India and sell it through their stores in the Gulf Region.

The biggest name I am aware of is Malabar Gold and Diamonds.

The Bombay branch of the Royal Mint produced 1,295,000 Sovereigns between August 15, 1918 to April 22 ,1919. The Mint mark on these Sovereigns is 'I'.

2,110,000 "15 Rupee" coins was also produced in 1918. Same dimensions and fineness as the Sovereigns produced in the same year.

No sign of any gold bullion coins being issued by the Reserve Bank of India or any national mints in India.

The Royal Mint has introduced 'Commemorative Sovereign' to India but its a (British) Royal Mint initiative.

I wonder if there were any Mule coins made, seeing the dies are the same size etc... I imagine quality control may have been hit and miss, but never seen nor heard of 1 ?
