Couple ebay Germany sellers are pre-selling 2012 silver coloured dragon coins with available time in July. Any rumors on re-mint by Perth mint? Did not find any clue online.
Mintages have closed, that if you refer to the Perth Mint. What are you talking about? If so, any link toward that. What size are they and from which mint?

Based upon the ad, they are breaking up the 9 coin sets and selling the colored coins individually. The box seems to add a lot to the price. http://www.gainesvillecoins.com/pro...-silver-dragons-berlin-coin-show-special.aspx
If you look at Perth's numismatic mintage page, you'll see that the Maximum mintage for the 1oz Black Dragon is 170,000 coins and...Sales To date are 7,405 coins. See page 3 of 7 http://www.perthmint.com.au//documents/2012_Perth_Mint_Numismatic_Coins_2012_Sales_311213.pdf Side note / additional reading The Red Dragon 1/2oz, 1oz, 2oz, coins which were found in numismatic sets are also available in coloured bullion format / unbroken rolls. The Red 5oz, 10oz, 1kilo coins are also available as coloured bullion. Perth call these coins coloured bullion when they are sold as bullion but... when they are placed in packaging they're a numismatic / collector product or by Perth's own wording in their Glossary of Terms - "Specimen" coins. See Specimen coins bottom of page. http://www.perthmint.com.au/mintage_policy.aspx H
These are not remint coins. Someone is breaking up the box set , trying to clear up the remaining surplus stocks. There are 9 set coins and also 10 set coins version. Please be aware they also comes in Proof coins beside the Specimen coins.
While i hope you're right.... i have to wonder? There are several German dealers who suddenly have stocks of these. Also, an ebay seller says "our firmly allocated......." "issued by the Perth mint and taken from a sealed Perth mint coin roll of 20 capsuled coins" would seem to suggest these may not be just from broken up box sets? But rather direct from Perth mint in rolls. And therefore the "sales to date" figures in their mintage pdf can be expected to rise by x amount.
Don't forget someone when crazy minting those Dragons full mintage. I guess they are probably dumping them now in the secondary market.
Chip, I also think they are not re-mints but they may be left over stock available to order by Perth's dealers but I don't know. Hopefully Ron or one of the major dealers could provide details. *I think the only coloured Proof coins are 1/2oz Red Dragon - Maximum Mintage 10,000 coins (Sales to date - 9,874) 1oz Red Dragon - Maximum Mintage 10,000 coins (Sold-out) Kilo Red Dragon - Maximum Mintage 500 coins (Sold-out) See page 3 of 7 http://www.perthmint.com.au//documents/2012_Perth_Mint_Numismatic_Coins_2012_Sales_311213.pdf All the other coloured Dragon coins are bullion or specimen coins.
29 sold and still 8 available, nice price as well, compared to the two boxed versions. Thanks for posting the links. I will have to see if they bring out any we haven't already seen.
Well you got them $300 cheaper than I did but I bet you are jealous of my fine carboard box and Certificate of Authenticity
Looks as if there are plenty of these coins. Buy a single coin or a roll of 20 or maybe 100. :| http://www.silber-corner.de/de/Silber/Lunar-II-Drache-Silber
that ebay seller is a perth mint distributor if i remember correctly.so that should explain some things in this issue...
Some of those coins at Silber-corner.de have in excess of 900 coins available and that's just for one colour. :|
Is this seller reliable? So cheap. Most of the dragons have a 4 weeks delivery time. Wonder the pre-order goes to where.
I have bought dragons from Silber.de in the past, no problems even though all the communications were in German. Was a bit of a pain having to organise and international bank transfer, and there were some fees involved for that but all in all it was a decent enough process. That was back in 2012 though. If they have changed the way they accept payment then I would probably go back to them.
